Roy Hampton read Matthew 7:2 and led in prayer. Lee Hampton taught our adult class from the book of Luke the 19th chapter. The subject was Zachaeus climbed a tree to see Jesus because he was so short. Wilma Hampton read the questions, and we answered them. We asked more for next week.
Roy Hampton took up the morning offering. Lee Hampton asked the blessing. The congregation sang several songs. The special music was performed by Willie Crawshaw, Jean Crawshaw, Rich Crawshaw, Dixie Crawshaw, Joe Lafferty and Jean and Sue Sisco. Joe Lafferty preached on John 14:27 and led in prayer. We sang an invitational song. Rick Crawshaw came to the altar for prayer of healing. The altar prayer was our dismissal.
Evening service started with singing. Sue Sisco sang as well as Joe Lafferty, Sue Sisco, Ronnie Thomas and Sue Thomas played.
Roy Hampton brought our first message in Matthew 7:19. Joe Lafferty commented on the same chapter. Joe Lafferty also read the first chapter of Psalms and commented on it.We had a testimony meeting and a song of invitation. We were dismissed by Ronnie Thomas.
Don’t forget the Friday Night Singing at the New Dogwood Nazarene Church on Highway 14 at 7 p.m. It is a benefit for Chad and Crystal Lee for the expenses from an auto accident. There will be lots of gospel singing.
