Today’s Sermon: Luke 20: 19-23.  The Devil sets traps and lies to us.

He reminded us that sin is only fun for a season.  Be careful of traps and snares. He gave examples of many animals and how easy it is to catch some in traps, and others like the coyotes are very smart.  They have a great sense, like we should have.

After the morning service, everyone went outside to the parsonage yard for a big barbeque.  Thanks to Bro. Rick and Helen who provided this for everyone. The food was great and the weather was perfect.  Everyone had a good time.

Speaker in the evening service was Stanley Jones.  He spoke from Galatians 2:9.  He spoke on how people perceive you and me? In the church, we are all on the same team.  We do not need to be in competition with each other.  We need to work in harmony – hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder.

Stanley was the preacher before Bro. Rick.
