Regina Lynn Chaffee, 63 years, passed away on August 11, 2011 at her home.
Regina was born Aug. 3, 1948 in Douglas County, Mo., to Willis and Imogene (Leroy) Alsup.
On Jan. 16, 1971, Regina and James Dallas Chaffee were united in marriage in Ava, Mo.
Regina was a homemaker and housewife. She was a caretaker to Dallas, to her father, her grandmother and other friends. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed baking, shopping, holidays, fishing when she could go and loved her dog, Bonnie Sue.
Regina was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Jeannie Lambert.
Regina is survived by her husband, James Dallas Chaffee; son and wife, Raymond and Brenda Alsup, Springfield, Mo.; two step-sons, Rick Chaffee, Theodosia, Mo., and Jimmy Chaffee, Kansas City, Mo.; six grandchildren; two sisters; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Regina were Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 2 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Mo., with burial in the Yates Cemetery east of Ava. Officiating was Pastor Tom Maples. Memorials may be made to Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, 3161 W. Norton Rd., Springfield, Mo. 65803
