Highway 14 at Fox Creek was reopened to traffic Monday morning after being closed all summer for bridge replacement. The bridge was closed on June 6 and was scheduled for completion on July 29. However, unforeseen delays prolonged the work and the highway was not reopened until Monday, Aug. 15. The picture above shows the superstructure underneath the bridge while the photo at left shows the new driving surface. On the same day this bridge opened, the Beaver Creek bridge on Highway 76 west of Ava was closed for replacement.
