Last year, thousands of Missouri students raised funds for research and education in the fight against heart disease and stroke by participating in the American Heart Association’s Jump Rope for Heart and Hoops for Heart events throughout the state. In total, more than $1.2 million dollars were raised at almost 700 events in Missouri during the last school year.
