Prayer concerns were shared for the unsaved, Chloe Wilson, Julie Tew, the families of Lonnie Combs, Oscar Cunningham and Jim Greathouse. We always remember our nation, leaders and troops. Debbie Pitts prayed.
Happy birthday was sung to Debbie Pitts and Brad Siler. Happy anniversary was sung to Aaron and Jenin Humbyrd.
Stan Humbyrd and Brad Siler, our two deacons, received our Lord’s tithes and offerings.
Pastor Neal said, “Let us thank Him for the blessings of this week”. Danny Johnson led us in songs. Testimonies were shared giving God praise and glory.
Pastor Neal prayed and read from Luke 8. Jarius’ daughter raised from the dead and the woman who touched Jesus’ garment was healed. Jesus said, “Thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace”.
At 6 p.m, Sonya Hodges prayed our beginning prayer followed by singing. Testimonies were shared about our Good Lord and salvation stories.
Carla Wilson sang and gave her salvation testimony.
Brother Dwight Wilson preached from John 19 and Jude 24. He taught about the Passover Lamb and he said, “It’s time to press in, pray more and finish up right.”
Jesus gave himself as a Passover lamb to the Church that He might present it to Himself. He is our divine keeper according to Jude 24.
Pastor Neal, LeAnn, Ashton and Erin are on vacation this week. Let us pray for them.
Tuesday at 7 p.m. is special prayer time and Wednesday at 7 p.m. is Bible study in Exodus.
Nest Sunday is our monthly fellowship dinner for birthdays and anniversaries in August.
Also, we collect items for the backpack program at Plainview School.
