The rains came, there is a break in the temperatures, the grass is growing again, and some green beans are pushing up in the garden. We had prayed for rain and now thank God for it. We can remember some years in the past when a hot and dry August followed a hot and dry July with no break. There have been many times school started with no break in temperatures until around the 20th of September.
Norma Stillings did not go the Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center to play the piano last Saturday, because she had a bad cough. The last bad cough she had was back in 2007, before she started as an Volunteer Ombudsman. There was a lot of other things she did not do, but she did rest, drink liquids, and gargle salt water. Hopefully she will be recovered this weekend.
