Opening prayer and devotion to start our Sunday morning was by Doug Miller.
In our Sunday school classes, we studied about “Walking in God’s path” the pathway to God’s blessing begins with a desire to follow God’s calling on our lives.
Happy birthday wishes went out to McKenzie Horstman, Chole Young, and Narvil Tetrick.
Many Prayer requests were given and God hears everyone, we need to cast our heavy burdens on the Lord.
We are still doing our series of videos on “as the world may know” Wednesday night 7:00 pm, August 10th and a business meeting will be afterwards.
Pastor Hall’s morning message was taken from Luke 16:19-31. The rich man could not comprehend that he would end up in hell. If we shut God out in this life then God will shut us out in eternal life. Fear of the Lord is beginning of wisdom and we are a heartbeat away from heaven or hell.
The evening message was from Psalms 41:10-13, the importance of saying amen and amen after prayers meaning (so be it). True prayer should be offered in the will of God and when one says amen we are blessing his glorious name forevermore.
