Church of the Living God

Another beautiful day the Lord has blessed us with.

Prayer requests were many, our military men and women, the government, Connie and Leah Lee, Keller family, James Coonts.  The Heart of the Ozarks, residents and staff always needs our prayers.

The morning message was in Genesis, establishing the foundation of the Bible, “in the beginning,” God created Adam and Eve, the family.  Proverbs 31:10 talks about the role of the woman and the man; 1 Peter 3:1 tells the woman how to conduct herself.  The Christian man and woman needs to step forward and let the glory of God be seen in them; had a very good evening service.  Chad Emmerson brought the message, Romans 6:16 was Chad’s first scripture, being servant unto God or a servant to Satan.  There are two places to spend eternity, obedience to God, heaven, obey Satan, eternal damnation, we have to choose.  God will not force his love on us, we choose our master.

Hebrews 10:23, let us hold fast the profession of our hope without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised) God never lies.

Chad said he had heard a story on some station about in California, the family unit cannot be talked about in school, mother, father cannot be mentioned, our faith can waver on a statement like that if we are not in prayer all the time.

The Christians are getting to be a minority if we are not already so. One of the definitions of Christians; exhibiting a spirit proper follower of Jesus Christ, a person who exemplifies in the teachings of Christ.  We have lost so many Christians values, we need to be aware and pray harder than ever.

Remember to hold on to your profession of faith, but also pray, pray, pray.

God’s grace is free, its already paid for!!
