Black Oak Church

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. II Chronicles 7:14.

Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school after congregational singing.  He read Romans 2:1-8 from our devotion.

Please pray for Sue Thomas, Mike Jones, Veda Bushong, Kathy, Jeannie Miller, Crystal Lee, Tom Elliott, JoannePond, Ernest and Dara Strong, Dana Brazeal and family, Pat Brazeal, Betty and family, Rick and family, Charles McFarland, Margie Beck family, Lonnie Coombs family, unspoken, unsaved, military, country, churches everywhere, all bereaved.

The adults studied Samson and the children studied Jesus.

Bobby Turley took up the offering and Hunter Adams did the penny march for Camp Piland.  Hunter sang a special for us.  Pastor David sang, then preached from II Chronicles 7:1-12.  God accepted the sacrifice that Solomon made and forgave Israel again.

Sunday night, Pastor David continued with II Chronicles 12:22.  We have to accept Christ which was sacrificed for us so that we can be saved.   Both were very good messages.

We had good testimonies and several back.  We missed those who were gone and enjoyed our visitors.  Please come back.

God is so good to us.  Please join us if you are looking for a church family.

May God bless you all and keep on walking with Jesus every minute of everyday.
