Smallett

Sunday morning service opened with some good music then prayer requests and prayer. A congregational song was sung then Brother Mahlon Schmucker brought the message from John 3:16. Brother Cody Prock brought the message for the second service from II Corinthians 6:1-18, “ At the end of the day, what really matters the most is that you are a Child of God.”

I sang a special for the first service and Waylon Souder sang a special for the second service.

Sunday evening was our 4th Sunday singing with several good special songs.

A special Happy 40th Anniversary to Cecil and Sonya Huff.

Spending the day on Tuesday with Bob and Nora Edwards were Alexis Swearengin and Kendra Walker. Joining them for supper were Toby and Jacinda Sheppard, Miranda Milligan and Shawn Swearengin.

Nora Edwards enjoyed visiting by phone one day with a cousin, Ethel McCallie, in Nowata, Oklahoma.

Visiting in our home during this week were Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams, Pauline Okhusen, Bevy Moore, Donna Bannister and Stacie Hamby.

I enjoyed a trip to town with Stacie Hamby and the babies for grocery shopping.

We feel blessed for a little moisture and some short-lived heat relief.
