Tuesday morning we started off our week at New Hope with our women’s prayer group. During Wednesday night Bible study we have been studying the book of Genesis. We are having an amazing study on this book. We had 17 people attend Bible study. We started out our morning service by lifting our prayer requests up to the Lord. We had many requests mentioned such as other churches, our troops, people in the nursing homes, those battling addictions, friends, family and several unspoken, just to name a few.
Our Sunday school lesson was over Luke 11:27 – 12:23. We had 23 attend morning services. Our messsage was delivered by Bro. Scott from II Timothy 4:14, “Be Instant In The Word of God.” During our evening service we had 30 attend. Specials prayers go out to Bro. Ed and Sister Loris’ new grandson who was born premature and is in NICU. We had several specials sang by Scott, Squeak, DiAnne, Aloma, Virginia, Larry, Calem, DeeDee, Sam and Madalyn. Bro. Scott brought forth our message from the book of Acts 2:1-8. It is so important that God’s people be in singleness of heart. “The faith of a mustard seed can move mountains.” Could you imagine what 10, 20, 1,000 mustard seeds of faith could do? We could really see things happen! We had a greatweek and are all exited about VBS coming up this week. Our children are the up and coming generation of believers, we will leave God’s word and work in their hands, so it is very important we train them up in the ways of the Lord so they don’t depart from it.
