Bro. Marshall greeted all with a good morning to all. We sang for Jesus and had prayer requests. Prayer was led by Sister Juanita. Bro. Marshall read some scripture from the book of Haggai 1:5-6.
Bro. Dallas began Sunday school by reviewing last weeks lesson. He then continued Acts 19:23-41. Sister Lee read the scripture from the Bible. Bro. Dallas continued on to explain the lesson. We had a lot of class discussion and comments.
We sang for the Lord and the choir was in good voice. Specials were by Sister Peggy and Bro. Marshall.
Bro. Paul greeted all with a good morning. He read scripture from Ezekiel 12:1-2. God gave him a good message for us. We closed with a song and special prayer for several love ones. Prayer was led by Bro. Marshall. Bro. Dallas led in prayer to dismiss and ask a blessing on the food.
We had a lot of good food and fellowship following the morning service. Some of us went to the Fourth Sunday Singing at Faith Rock Church. It was a real good singing.
Our prayer circle began the evening service. Many prayer requests were made. Prayer was led by Sister Mary.
We sang some good old hymns. Bro. Marshall led in prayer. We had a special by Bro. Marshall and Bro. Paul began the evening service by readying scripture from Amos 8:11-14. It was another great message from God. Testimonies were given by some and we closed with prayer by Sister Patsy.
We had a good singing Saturday night. The crowd was small, but the spirit of the Lord was there. We will do it again August 27 at 7 p.m. Come and join us.
