Bryant Heights

This weather is a first time for me to have it reach 105 degrees and much more in other places this week.

Sunday was a good day at Seminole for both services.  Pastor Mike Frazier, vice-president of Missions, was preaching both morning services. Jim Vinton of Wycliffe Ministries shared his ministry during the evening service.

We were happy to have Pastor Don’s mother of Kansas City. She came with them to church.

Mary Belle Dickison has found a new church home at Seminole. Marise and I could not be more pleased. She got all moved into her new home in Springfield Saturday with the help of her family.

I got news this week from Oregon that Evan Williams of Mtn. Grove had passed away at the age of 92 years, July 4. I wish to send belated sympathy to all his family.

It was a joy for me to receive a phone call for my birthdday from a good friend, Betty Williams, of Boring, Oregon. Betty and I worked together at Spouse Rights Store for five and one half years and are still good friends and growing older together.

I also got birthday phone calls from sister, Alice and Geneva. Alice’s cold was better and Geneva’s doctors have got her legs to working better now.

Being at peace with yourself is a direct result of finding peace with God.
