The annual Wagner School Reunion will be held on Saturday, Aug. 13, in the community building at the Southern Webster County Fire Station. Everyone is welcome, and all former students and teachers are urged to attend.
A covered dish meal will be served at noon.
The Wagner schoolhouse is one of the few remaining one-room schools still standing in Douglas County. It is reminiscent of a time before consolidation of the rural schools.
The air-conditioned building is located on Hwy. Z approximately midway between US 60 on the north and State Rd. 14 on the south.
