July 13th
Caney met Wednesday night to praise and testify of God’s goodness. Service began with singing.
Bro. Jeff Shipley was the leader and read and commented on Isaiah 55 and 56, “The Everlasting Invitation.”
Everyone had scripture to read and good thoughts.
Sister Janice Lafferty taught the youngsters from Matthew 5:43-46, “Love your enemy as well as your neighbor.”
Sunday school opened with singing.
Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone, praise reports were given and Sister Lorrinda Coulter led in prayer. Jack read Psalm 27:7-14.
Testimony was given by Lorrinda Coulter, Janice Lafferty, Elsie Combs and Laurene Mitchell.
Praise worship began with singing.
Singing a special music were Melissa Harmon and Jim Lafferty.
Pastor Bill spoke this morning from Ecclesiastes 10:14-15, 1:2-4.
Do you know the way to the heavenly city? Repent and follow Christ, He’s the only way.
Sunday evening Caney came together with singing.
Bro. Bill took charge of the service taking prayer requests.
Bro. Hi Lambeth led in prayer.
Testimony was given by Jim Lafferty, Janice Lafferty, Hi Lambeth and Lila Roberts.
Bro. Jack Essary was our speaker.
Sunday evening Hi brought his message from Galatians 6:1-10.
We will all face God. What are we doing to help others on the way? What will people say of you? When you’re gone what will you leave behind that really matters?

July 20th
Caney Church came to worship Wednesday with singing.

Bro. Bill took charge of the service reading from the 33rd Psalm.
Sunday morning service began with singing.
Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone, praise reports were given and Bro. Jeff Shipley led in prayer.
Jack read I Samuel 2:1-10 for devotion.
After Sunday school, happy birthday was sung to Susan Todd, God Bless her.
Sister Tracy Shipley led our young in several songs.
Testimony was given by Jeff Shipley, Vanessa Mills and Susan Todd.

Singing specials were sung by Hannah Morgan and Melissa Harmon.
Pastor Bill Austin spoke this morning from John 4:29, Psalm 103:8-14, John 20:30-31 and 21:24-25.
Christ knows all that we have done and yet He pities us and has mercy on us.
When we repent and fear Him, He will cast our sins away as far as the East is from the West, a thought provoking message.

Don’t let the love of this world interfere with you love for Christ. If we stay true to Christ He will never leave us or forsake us.
