I haven’t been to church for a few weeks. It’s been a combination of the hot weather and not feeling too good.
Bob and Linda have taken me to the doctor three times to Springfield and all the tests have been good, but still don’t feel good. Maybe when it cools down, I’ll feel better.
Bob and Susie came Sunday afternoon and brought me some barbequed ribs and Susie cooked other things to go with it. I sure enjoyed the ribs and supper. Butch Scott came to visit me but I was asleep so he, Bob and Linda had a nice visit.
Bob went with daughters, Barb and Carol, to Springfield on Saturday to visit his mom, Mary. The family helped her celebrated her 96th birthday which was on the following Monday, the 25th. Linda stayed here with me.
I talked to Violet one day last week. They were doing fairly well.
I thought my hummingbirds were slowing down, but they’re back again keeping Linda and Bob busy feeding them.
I’ve missed music for several weeks and sure want to get back to seeing the guys as soon as I feel better.
James brought me some blackberries he’d picked and Linda made me a cobbler. She put some raspberries with it. We all enjoyed it.
