Bonnie Phipps said that Robert Lee Mathes and his niece and her husband came by last Tuesday. They had been down to Leadhill, Arkansas and was looking around down there so they came on up to visit with Bonnie before going back home.

Debbie Cederlind and Courtnie Vigessa and Wylie came down Thursday at noon to Bonnie’s to visit with her before Courtnie and Wylie went back home this week. They stayed until that evening before going back to Springfield. Roy and Linda Freeman and Cecilia Edwards came over and visited with them too. Sunday afternoon Hellen Blakey stopped by Bonnie’s and visited with her while she was in town.

Mary Martha Williams, Doris Morrison and Hellen Blakey attended Lois McCaw’s funeral last Monday in Mountain Grove.

I took my news in last Tuesday so  I went to Marie Dickey’s and then to the drug store for medicine and then I went to the Subway and got me and Anita a sandwich. I then went to her house and ate it with her because it was Anita’s 80th birthday. I went by Mary Lou and Ronnie Garfit’s before I came on home. My place sure looks better now that Mike Opeka brushhogged it off.

Thursday I went over and picked Cathy Merritt up and we went over to Mary Lou’s and I washed her hair for her. Kendra Dering came by Thursday afternoon and picked her up her birthday card.

George and Violet brought me some cucumbers Friday and I canned four quarts of pickles and then I left some bigger ones for bread and butter pickles.  I had to go to Grower’s Market Saturday morning to get me some bell peppers and onion to make them and I got six quarts of them and then I had enough of the smaller ones to slice hamburger pickles  and I got two quarts of them. I went by Marie Dickey’s Saturday morning before I went to the Grower’s Market.

Sunday we were happy to have Nancy Bolen’s daughter, Jim and Nina Carter. She said they were living on her grandpa, Cal Neiman’s farm. Welcome to the community.

Lets keep all our sick folks in our prayers because there are new ones added every day and old ones that still need prayer. My prayer and sympathy goes out to all that has lost a loved one.

Lets keep our leaders and men and women in the service and their family in our prayers.

Keep the men and women who are in training and will be going overseas in your prayers also.

Saturday I received a half of an inch of rain  and Sunday I received three-tenths of an inch in my rain gauge.
