The Doss, Dry, Thompson reunion was held July 16 at the Ava Lions Club with 42 people attending.
Those attending from out of state were: Eddie Dry from Cotter, Ark.; Willie “Bill” Dry, Betty (Johnston) Newberry from Wichita, Kan.; and Lorene (Bowman) Christin from Williamsburg, Va.
Missouri people not from Douglas County were: Harlan and Vera (Thompson) Dalton from Ash Grove; Lavon (Woolsey) Carter from Mansfield; Charles Dry from Rogersville; Douglas G. Dry, Floyd V. Dry, Bob and Helen (Thompson) Cook, and Douglas R. Thompson from Springfield.
