Each Tuesday we have special prayer time at 7 pm. Every Wednesday we have Bible study in Genesis. Each Sunday at 9:45 am we have prayer, Sunday school at 10 am and worship at 11 am. You are welcome to come to these services.
As we started many prayer requests were shared. Everyone needs the Lord; some know it and some do not. Doyle Humbyrd prayed this prayer.
Happy anniversary was sung to Harold and Juanita Menzies and Aaron and Melissa Dalton, who share the same day, July 20th.
Brad Siler prayed the offertory prayer as we gave the Good Lord his tithes and offerings. Pastor Neal said, “So glad you came” as he began. Stan Humbyrd led us in songs with LeaAnn Crum at the piano.
Testimonies were given. Pastor Neal read from Luke 7 and Matthew 11, Jesus’ commendation of John the Baptist.
At 6 p.m., Pastor Neal prayed followed by singing. Testimonies were given for Amy Hodges, Tim Meyers, Anita Smith and Tony Todd.
Pastor Neal read from Luke 7, the story of the woman with the alabaster box of ointment who washed Jesus’ feet with her hair. Jesus said unto her, “thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace”. How great it is to know the peace he gives and to know our sins are forgiven all because of the cross.
