Oak Grove Church

Having spent most of the last week either in a hospital, or on the way to or from the hospital, I was unable to get the church news letter in the paper last week. I apologize for lapse, but I assure you it was due to circumstances beyond my control.

This last Lord’s Day the message was entitled, “Agreement and Fellowship”, and the entire day seemed to be permeated with those sentiments. Our text was, Amos 3:3, “Can Two Walk Together, Except They be Agreed?”

We had some very special guests, from one of our sister association in our morning worship service and a truly wonderful time in the Lord.

The message for our evening service was delivered by Bro. Gary Martin and taken from the text, II Peter 1:1-10. We are encouraged to focus on, “Grace And Peace, being multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.”

This week we are having Vacation Bible School and hope you will come and join us in the exuberance of youth, and joy of the Lord.

Even though we had guests Sunday, we still have extra seating, and if you will come and help us cover some of the empty upholstery, we really would appreciate it. After all, isn’t it a shame to waste all that seating and air-conditioning.
