Sunday school opened with a good morning from Bro. Marshall. We sang a song for the Lord. Bro. Marshall asked for prayer requests. There were many. Prayer was led by Sister Mary. Bro. Marshall read scripture from Romans, chapter 8, verses 2-6. Sunday school class began with Bro. Dallas greeting all with a good morning. Bro. Marshall read the lesson from Acts, chapter 19, verses 1-22. Bro. Dallas brought the lesson. We had a lot of class discussion and comments. It was a good lesson.
We sang for Jesus and the choir was in good voice. We gave our gifts to the Lord and Sister Alice led in the offertory prayer. Specials were by Bro. Marshall and Sister Peggy.
Bro. Paul opened the morning service with a good morning to all and then read scripture from Jonah, chapter 1, verses 1-17. God gave him a good message for us. We closed with a song and dismissed with prayer by Sister Ulla.
Our evening service began with our prayer circle. We were few in number, but the Lord was present. We had many prayeer requests. Sister Ulla led in prayer. We sang for the Lord. Bro. Paul prayed and specials were given by Bro. Marshall, Sister Peggy and Sister Ulla. Bro. Paul gave a short message and we had testimonies from the congregation. We closed with prayer led by Sister Patsy.
Saturday night, July 23rd will be our Saturday night singing. Bring your songs and instruments and join in with us for some good fellowship at 7:00 p.m.
We will be having dinner and good fellowship following the morning service Sunday, July 24.
Don’t forget the Fourth Sunday Singing at Faith Rock Church at 2 p.m.
