Opening prayer and devotion was given by Joie Welker. Everyone went to their Sunday school classes where we studied in Judges 3:15, “Use God’s Strength.” God’s people were once again given a deliverance after they cried out to the Lord. God is always there to provide what we need despite our disobedience.
Happy birthday wishes goes out to Brenda Hampel and Wendell Deo.
Happy anniversary wishes went out to George and Pauline Welker in celebration of their 64 years of marriage.
Special song was given by the Gentry Singers and by Bro. Dewayne Claxton.
We were glad to have Bro. Claxton and his family joining us in our service today. His message was from Luke 19:11-26. We need to live a good life to be an example to others and win souls. It’s our duty to share Jesus with others. We will have to give an account for our lives.
Gentry is all geared up for our Bible school. “Son Serf” is our theme this week. It will be every night from 6 to 8 p.m. Bring your little children to learn about Jesus. Next Sunday morning will be our Bible school program at 11 a.m.
Next Sunday night at 6 p.m. we will have Bro. Ean Hendrix as our guest speaker. Everyone is welcome to come and join us.
