Sunday afternoon guests in Bonnie Phipp’s home were her two granddaughters and great grandson, Courtnie Vigessa and Wylie, and Kaylynn Moe. Courtnie and Wylie are here on a little vacation.
Carol Moore and Hellen Blakey went with Marie Dickey to her O.E.S. meeting in Mansfield last Monday evening.
I took my news in last Tuesday and then went on over to see Mary Lou and Ronnie.
Wednesday by 8 a.m. I had one-tenths of an inch of rain in my rain gauge, but it rained a little more after that and I thought when I picked up my mail I looked at my rain gauge, but Thursday morning I had three-tenths of an inch of rain in my rain gauge so I don’t know if that all came that mroning or I had some left over from Wednesday.
Thursday I went to town to get some gas for my lawn mower and Mark and Mark Weston stopped by Friday and picked up some thing I had for them and took my scraps to heir chickens. Kristie and Lakota brought me some canning jars by Saturday and later that evening I went over and got some cucmbers out of James’ truck to can.
Sunday night after service we had a surprise birthday party for Mae Cox who turned 85 Thursday and she was surprised. There were 24 there to help her celebrate by eating cake, ice cream and Jell-O.
Keep all the sick folks in your prayers. There are lots of them out there.
My sympathy and prayers go out to all who have lost a loved one especially the Howard Dougherty, Henderson Gentry, Dorthy McGaw and Lois McCoy families.
Pray for our leaders and men and women in the service and their family.
Keep the men and women who are in training and will be going overseas in your prayers.
