Sunday morning service was opened with music then prayer requests and prayer, more hymns then a beautiful special by Cami Souder, accompanied by the musicians.
Brother Roberts brought the message from Galatians 5:22-25, the final in a series of messages, “Fruit of the Spirit.”
On Thursday evening, several from Walnut Grove Church, gathered at the home of Cheryl Hopper and had prayer and communion with her.
Several of the Joe and Wilma Hamby family spent the weekend in Branson in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
On Friday, Gary and Bevy Moore visited with Delmar and me. Bevy spent the afternoon and Gary visited in the nursing home in Ava. Delmar was feeling under the weather but is doing ok now.
On Sunday afternoon, Donna Bannister and Synthia Bishop came to visit us then later we went to Mansfield where we enjoyed visiting with Shawn, Summer and Caidence Johnson and Keith Bannister. We later visited my mom, Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams.
On Monday, Delmar and I drove to Seymour and bought a bushel of peaches then came home and peeled and sliced them for the freezer.
On Monday we met Bob and Linda McCleary at McDonald’s for lunch.
The weather has been so hot that we have been staying in the house more this week.
Delmar mowed a little in the morning and late evening.
I made a squash casserole and a zucchini cake one day. They were really good.
