I hope that everyone has had a blessed week. We sure have. Tuesday morning we started our week out with prayer group. We want to extend our invitation to any ladies who would like to join us. Wednesday night we had a wonderul Bible study. We have been studying the book of Genesis, and we had a rather large crowd for our Wednesday night service. We had 18 people who attended and it was a wonderful study.
During Sunday morning service we started out with many praryer requests before dismissing to our Sunday school classes. We had a total of 19 attend services and also had one new member joining the church. We had special readings by Bro. Squeak from the book of Daniel and Bro. Mike from I Samuel. Bro. Scott delivered the morning message from Romans 10:11-21. There are riches promised to those who walk in the footsteps of the Lord. Christ bought our grace with the blood He shed. So praise Him and thank Him. Some run, some hide, some just flat out rebel, some just refuse to believe, but I am here to tell you that He lives! The one true living God of creation and there will come a day when all will asnwer to Him. There will be no hiding, no running, no rebelion, no disbelief. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Be called and hearken unto His voice, His leading and His will, before it is too late. Spread the good news, don’t keep Jesus to yourself. He wants so badly to be in our lives so that through us we can witness to all so that He can get out among the world and be the light that shines. I pray we all awaken.
Sunday night we had 26 attend service. We got to see some faces that were new and some that we haven’t seen in a long time, but none the less, blessed to have had them in service. We had many prayer requests, our troops, missionaries, each other and the lost. We had a special song by Sis. Dee Dee, Sis. Gin, Sis. Aloma, Sis. Candy and Bro. Larry. Bro. Scott delivered the message from Jude 20-25. Sometimes it seems that we waiver on the promise that we can use the Lord to persevere through all things. When things go bad we have the tendency to cry out, “Lord, Lord, help me out of this one!” or “Lord, what did I do to deserve this?” But how often when things are going good and smooth do we cry out to God. “Lord, God Thank You!” He is worthy of our praise at all times good and bad. How often do we see people tempt God? And by that I mean praise Him all day Sunday and turn around on Monday and live like the devil? And then repeat it again the next week and the next? I know our God will and is growing angry. Yes, He is merciful, but there may be a day when one cries out, “Lord, Lord,” And He says “depart from me ye workers of iniquity.” Some we need to have compassion on to save, and some we will save by fear. Fear of losing heaven as an eternal rest and fear of hell and death and torment. When it comes to the crowd or Jesus, pick Jesus or join the crowd and head to hell with them. I believe the lake of fire is growing wider every day, take heed lost, fear God and be obedient to His will for you.
