Sunday school began with a good morning from Bro. Marshall. We had prayer requests. We have so much to pray about – the lost, our church, our families, the sick and each other. Prayer was led by Sister Juanita. We sang for Jesus. Bro. Marshall read scripture from Hebrews 10:19-25.
Bro. Paul began the Sunday school lesson by reading from Acts 18:1-28. We had class discussion and comments. It was a good lesson.
We sang some great hymns and gave our gifts for the Lord. Offertory prayer was led by Sister Lee. Specials were performed by Bro. Marshall and Sister Peggy.
Bro. Paul opened the morning service by reading from St. John 15:10-17. He gave us a great message from the Lord. We closed with a song and Sister Peggy dismissed with prayer.
Our prayer circle began the evening service. We had many prayer requests. Prayer was led by Sister Mary. We sang for the Lord and specials by Bro. Marshall, Sister Peggy, Sister Ulla and Sister Patsy finished with some piano solos. We then all sang. Bro. Paul read scripture from Acts 1:1-14. Through Bro. Paul the Lord gave us another great message to finish off a great Lord’s Day.
