Opening prayer and devotion was by Joie Welker to start our Sunday morning off. All went to their classes and studied in Joshua, chapter two on how the children of Israel would not listen to the judges God had put before them and because of their disobedience, they had to suffer at the hands of their enemies. Our special for the morning was a reading and song by Narvil Tetrick and Janice Young. We were pleased to get a good praise report from Faye Allen’s niece, Ashley Forest, who is doing well after her surgery and is going to be recuperating at home. Keep her in your prayers.

This coming Friday is our Third Friday Night singing at 7 p.m., July 15. Come and join us.

Next Sunday, July 17, we will have a guest speaker, Bro. Dwayne Claxton for our morning and 6 p.m. evening services.

Remember our Bible school coming up and starting July 18-22, fromĀ  6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and the program will be Sunday morning July 24. Everyone is invited to come and see these children and what they learned.

Bro. Brad Pellham’s message this morning was from I Corinthians 1-13. The people of Israel wandering around in the wilderness and seem to forget the miracles, food and everything God did for them, but stll did not obey. There is no limit to what God can do. He is faithful. We need to keep II Chronicles 7:14 in our hearts.

Evening services started with prayer and congregational singing and testimonies were given. Our special song was from The Gentry Singers.

Bro. Pellham’s evening message was from II Thess. 2:3-12. Let no man decieve you babout the coming of the Lord. These things are going to take place, believe in the truth and the word.
