This weeks news – Food harvest items were collected for Heart of the Hills Food Harvest in Ava.

We have prayer time at 9:45.  Our devotional reading was from Romans 6.

Prayer requests were for Kay Bilyeu, Chad Shelby, John Watson, Donna Witchey’s family.  We will remember to pray for Lloyd, Jonathan, Chloe, David and family, Dwight and family and Rodger and family because they are our family.  The Wilson family has been a great pillar in our church for three generations and we love and appreciate them so very much.  Sonya Hodges led us in this prayer time.

Happy birthday was sung to Eldon Hodges, whose birthday was that day and Doyle Humbyrd.

Brad Siler prayed the offertory prayer as he and Stan Humbyrd received our Lord’s tithes and offerings with Elane Crum at the piano.

Debbie Pitts gave thanks for the prayers for her brother and asked for prayer for her niece.  There were testimonies of our great God.

Pastor Neal shared words from John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and James Monroe.  Our nation was founded by men of God.  Let us pray much for our leaders today.

Evening service was dismissed to go to New Vision Church at 4 p.m. for a celebration of freedom.  LeaAnn Crum and Martin Hodges were doing music along with others.  The church does a great evening for music, games and food along with a program and services.
