Red Bud News

A good morning to all our readers. We hope everyone had a safe and great holiday over the weekend and stayed cool. We enjoyed the showers of rain that we got.

We send get well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes. May you be up and about real soon. Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.

We send greetings to everyone who has a birthday at this time. We hope you have a great day with many more to come. A special greeting to my granddaughter, Stephinie “PeeWee” Watkins as her big day is the sixth of July.

No news turned in this week so here I am out on a limb again. They may want to change the heading from Red Bud to News from Norma. Your reporter has been on the go again. On Saturday Bud Watkins came by after work and took me to his home for a while. Then we all loaded up and went to Norwood for the firework and music program there. Amy June Watkins and Peggy Greene joined us there. Steven Watkins was already there waiting on the rest of us. Then Sunday afternoon Amy June, Naomi and Jacob Watkins came by and we went to the Highway Church of the Nazarene for their freedom Celebrate America program. Both of the activities were great and enjoyed by all.

Visitors of Norma this week have been Bud, Naomi, Jacob, Ralissa, Lane, Ronald, Derek, Stephinie and Jerry Lee Watkins.

If you have any news just let us know. We hope everyone has a good week and finds a cool place in the hot weather. Remember to check on the shuts ins and make sure they are okay.

Jesus loves you.
