Tuesday morning July 5th, will try and write a little news. Hoping for rain this week and cooler temps for July.
Last Sunday night River Stillwood had supper with Bertha and Dean Scherer.
On Monday Bertha and I visited and had lunch with Ann Collins.
Karen Fredrick spent from Monday to Friday night in Ardmore, Oklahoma where Doug was working. Then Doug and Karen picked Cole and Isabel Bradshaw up Saturday and they spent Saturday night with them and went to West Plains to see the fireworks.
We had our picnic and fireworks display at the Brush Creek bridge on Sunday night. We had lots of fireworks, the following were there, Anges Williams, Ann Collins, Ella May Daugherty, Bertha and Dean Scherer, Carol Wise and Riley O’Shea, Ted and Karen Collins, Janet, Paul and Katlyn Smith, Coldan Killion, Chris Hartzell and a friend, Myron, Karen and Doug Fredrick, Melissa and Daren Causey, Autumn, Brian and Blaine Collins, Kodi and Clinton Causey, Sirena and Jared Bradshaw, Cole and Isabell.
Get well wishes to Louise Hutchison, I learned yesterday she had a stroke. Also to Corine Rogers, she was unable to come to church Sunday, her foot is causing her problems, she had surgery on it recently. Also let’s keep Eddie Berry and Leon Brandshaw in our prayers.
Our sympathy to Juanita Dougherty and family; Howard was buried at the Rock Church Saturday.
Carol Wise and Riley spent Sunday night with Ann Collins.
We had a good church service at Prior Sunday. One of Ginger and Willard’s daughters was baptized Sunday evening at Topaz.
Just had a nice phone call from my niece, Billie Williams, in Hutchinson, Kansas, she is taking “Chemo” for cancer.
I have also been having some very nice phone visits with Kay Johnson who lives west of Ava, her mother Veta Coonts and I always talked daily.
