July 3 – Sunday school opened with singing. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone and prayer requests and praise reports were taken. Sis. Janice Lafferty led in prayer. Jack read Romans 6:1-11 for devotion. After a good Sunday school lesson, Happy Birthday was sung to Kolten Kinyon. God bless him. Sis. Tracy Shipley led our young ones in song. Testimonies were given Jeff Shipley, Laurene Mitchell, Hi Lambeth and Jim Lafferty.
Praise and Worship began with singing. We are so proud of Gracie Shipley. She was voted camper of the year. Those singing today were Laurene Mitchell, Charlotte Roberts and Melissa Harmon. Bro. Hi called for an altar of prayer for the sick in our church family. Service continued with each one doing as the spirit led. It was a great time of worship.
Sunday evening service began with singing. Bro. Jeff Shipley opened services taking prayer requests. Bro. Hi Lambeth led in prayer. Testimonies were given by Hi Lambeth, Charlotte Roberts and Janice Lafferty. Singing for us Sunday evening was Charlotte Roberts. Sis. Melba Austin read It Is Well With My Soul. Pastor Bill spoke from Mark 3:1-6 and Luke 6:6-8. It is bad to have a withered hand, but it’s worse to have a withered heart. Jesus is grieved with the condition of our hearts when it’s not right. Jesus can change our hearts when we turn to Him. Trust Him and repent. It was a wonderful day in the Lord.
