We trust everyone had a safe and happy Independence Day!
Last Thursday’s meeting for Kiwanis Club members was informative but we went through business and still had time to visit a bit which is great for us.
We discussed some unfinished business, including a few items we still have in the storage unit, so we can’t get rid of that yet. No one was available to help Glenda in the flowerbed at the park last week, so that was put off until another time. Hopefully, more will be interested and a new date can be set next meeting.
We have taken brochures and contact cards to the Chamber office for Judy to put in welcome packets and hope to generate interest from new people in that way as well as networking with other businesses at Chamber events.

If you have ever thought you might enjoy being a member of Kiwanis Club of Ava, now is a great time! Join in July, pay just $18 and your membership is good till Sept. 30. You can come to meetings and see what we are all about, join us for service projects, fundraisers and networking opportunities. If you decide to renew, you can do so at the yearly rate at that time.
