Dear friends, there is a special place in the Most High, for those who seek it with their heart. Psalm 91 calls it the secret place of the most High, a place where there is no worry or fear, there is comfort and provision and justice, deliverance and long life. Those who choose to dwell in this secret place of God are never far away from God, because the scripture says they dwell under His shadow.
Like the eagle in the nest, the most High will always cover those who choose to dwell in this secret place, keeping them safe and close to Him. Those who choose to dwell in this secret place of the most High can learn from God how to grow and thrive and battle against enemies as his truth is revealed to them.
If you have chosen to become a child of God by faith in Jesus, and have decided to love God in return because He loves you so much, then you can dwell in this secret place.
There will be a moment in your life, perhaps you have already had it, when you know, really know, down in your heart that God loves you, and you have chosen to love Him in return and believe on Jesus, and when you choose to get in the Word and learn the promises of God for those who love Him, you can expect to walk different and talk different and be different through the secret place of the most High.
The love of God and the Word of God will change you for good when you start walking in this secret place of God’s love and truth.
To abide under the shadow of God’s love means to never be far away from him, and because the believer has chosen to focus their love upon God.
God’s secret place of dwelling in His love is not a passive place to live. It is filled with choices and decisions. As we see in the scripture there are choices that have to be made by the believer to dwell in the secret place of God. One must come to God through his son Jesus by faith, then we choose to love Him and be willing to be changed. We choose to read the Bible (or not) that tells us how to live victoriously in His truth.
If you set your love to seek God, the secret place of the most High can be your dwelling place. What comfort awaits when we dwell in the shadow of the Almighty.
