Our prayer chain was called this week for Debbie Pitts’ brother, Kevin Eubanks.
Our devotional reading was from Deuteronomy 5. Prayer requests were for Donna Witchey, Amanda Evans, John Watson, Pat Dobbs and camp this week. Neal and LeaAnn are directors; other workers are Juanita and Harold Menzies, cooks, Cody Menzies, Ashton and Elane Crum, Rhonda Dobbs and Robbie Sidyakin. Erin Crum and cousin, Tristen, are campers. There were 60 campers last week in Senior High. David Koenig was the evangelist. Reports were that it was a great camp.
Daniel Wilson prayed the offertory prayer as he and Brad Siler received our Lord’s tithes and offerings.
Danny Johnson led us in song with LeaAnn at the piano.
Testimonies were shared about our Good Lord.
Pastor Neal prayed and read from Luke 6. Jesus Christ prayed all night. He asked, “How much time did you spend in prayer this week”? Jesus had a habit of stealing away to pray. After He prayed all night he chose the 12 apostles.
We were dismissed by Clay McFarlin and our monthly fellowship dinner was enjoyed by many.
Stan and Kim Humbyrd were in children’s church.
At 6 p.m., we began our service with singing. Testimonies were given. Brother Van Menzies gave the message. He read and shared from I John 5. Let us pray for a fire in our souls.
Each Tuesday at 7 p.m. is special prayer time and each Wednesday at 7 p.m. is Bible study.
