Sounds like we are going to have a few days of cooler weather. I don’t think many people had problems getting there hay up this past week.
Norma Cross and I spent some time with Peggy Jenkins at the nursing home Tuesday. She seems to be feeling better. We also visited with Goldie Miller while there. Wednesday we went to Ozark for the funeral of our cousin, Gearldine (Applegate) Holt. Her dad the late O.A. Applegate and our Mom, Mavie (Applegate) Jenkin’s dad, the late George Applegate were brothers.
Norma went to Clinton, MO. over the weekend to be with her daughter, Glenda Strong, who had surgery Friday.
We picked Kinsey Thompson up Friday afternoon. She spent the week at the White River Valley Church Camp. Others going from Goodhope Baptist Church were Kylie Winkles, Kai Trent and Malissa and Britney.
Dick and I have been going to the kids ballgames. Norma has gone with us a few times.
I just got word that Jeanette George is back in the hospital. It seems like there are so many people having health problems.
We need to pray for our loved ones and our country.
