Hello from our home to your home, it is a busy week for us here. Friday night is our annual Fourth of July Celebration. Free admission, food, drink, fishing, games, music, craft booths and visiting with friends and neighbors all at one place and especially don’t forget the awesome fireworks. For more information call 683-4129. If you come, please don’t forget your lawn chairs or blankets.
We appreciate Gentry Church for the church services Sunday afternoon. We also appreciate all the wonderful volunteers we have.
Dorothy Kimbler was talking to me Wednesday morning at breakfast and led me to believe that she is getting used to our life here and is very well satisfied. She has a nice home and would rather be there, but this is really fine for this time in her life. This seems to be anuniversal feeling among our residents.
Maxine Lirley made her trip to Las Animas, Colorado in fine shape and reports she and her kids, Gary, Alice, Jean and Judy had a great time going to the Lirley Reunion. Clyde Lirley was one of ten children, six sisters and four brothers. Clyde and brothers had passed on, but four sisters are still alive. They and their families were in Las Animas this year for the reunion.
Maxine Lirley got home just in time to finish the jigsaw puzzle of Key West, Florida. This puzzle was very challenging and full of information. She recommends it to anyone who likes puzzles and likes to learn things too.
Our garden plants are growing rapidly even though we were late getting them out because of so much rain.
Reminder, you are invited to attend our 26th Annual Fourth of July Celebration Friday night at 6:00 p.m. This is a very fun filled night for everyone. Hope to see you there. God bless you from Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center in Ava, MO.
