Sunday school opened with a good morning from Bro. Marshall. We sang for Jesus. Prayer requests were given. Prayer was led by Sister Alice. Bro. Marshall read some scripture. Bro. Dallas began are Sunday school lesson by reading from Acts, chapter 16, verses 16-40. There was class discussion which is always good. We had our Coins For Christ March by our young ones. We sang for the Lord and the choir was in good voice. Bro. Marshall said prayer for our gifts for our Lord. We had specials from Sister Peggy and Bro. Marshall. Sister Ulla handed out Father’s Day gifts for the fathers that were present.
Bro. Paul began the worship service by reading scripture from St. John, chapter one verses 1-14. He prayed and gave us a great message from God. Sister Naomi led the closing song and prayer.
The evening service began with our prayer circle. Many prayer requests were mentioned. Prayer was led by Sister Ulla. We sang for the Lord and had prayer led by Bro. Martin Hathcock. We had specials by Sister Peggy, Bro. Marshall, Sister Juanita and Sister Ulla. Bro. Marshall and Sister Juanita sang a duo. Bro. Paul read scripture from Isaiah chapter six verses 1-12. God gave him a good message for us. We closed with some testimonies and dismissed with prayer by Bro. Marshall.
We were happy to have Sister Freida Thurman and Bro. Martin Hathcock join us in our evening service.
Saturday night, June 25, we will have our monthly singing. Come and join us for some good fellowship. Bring your songs and instruments.
Sunday morning, June 26, we will be having dinner following the services. Come and join us for good food and fellowship at 2 p.m. We will have the Fourth Sunday Singing at Happy Home. Come and join us for good music and fellowship and a blessing.
