Some of this news is from Memorial weekend.
Ann Collins had company from Bristow, Oklahoma, her daughter, Linda Owens and Joy Hope (her granddaughter), Austin and Josh and a great granddaughter, Cammie, other visitors of Ann’s during that weekend were Ted and Karen Collins, Bertha Scherer.
Tracy, Hannah and Devin Griffith came over on Saturday and ate lunch and we went to the Hunt Cemetery. They had stopped at Evans on their way over.
Jamie, Devin, Bailee and Lauryn Snodgrass of Moberly came Sunday and spent the night with me.
Gathering for a picnic at Brush Creek Sunday night, May 29th for a birthday celebration for Sirena Bradshaw of Mountain Grove (who had a birthday May 27th) were the following: Agnes Williams, Ann Collins, Ella May Daugherty, Butch and Nita Fredrick and Nita’s mother Bertha and Dean Scherer, Karen and Ted Collins, Janet, Paul and Katlyn Smith, Linda Owens, Joy Hope, Austin, Josh and Cammie, Jamie, Devin, Bailee and Lauryn Snodgrass, Karen and Doug, Fredrick, Jared, Sirena Cole and Isabell Bradshaw. We all had a good time and a lot of good food.
Jamie, Devin and the girls went to Wilbur and Louise Hutchison’s for lunch then came back and got me and I accompanied them to Moberly and stayed until this past Sunday. Had a real good visit with them, Debbie and Shelby Hutchison. Debbie and Jamie brought me to Lake of the Ozarks, where Tracy, David Hannah and Devin Griffith met me, we had lunch there then I ate supper at Tracy’s before coming on home.
Deepest sympathy to the family of Harley Hancock.
This week’s news:
Ann and I went to church today (June 12th) the first time in two weeks, wasn’t very many there, 16 I think. Shirley Chandler was there and her son Eric Wheat and two little boys. Carolyn Shelton sang a beautiful special, Elaine always sings a beautiful song, but this one is one of my favorites.
Agnes Williams spent today with Janet, Paul and Katlyn Smith.
