We had a wonderful Sunday, worshiping the Lord and dwelling on His goodness. We are so thankful for the goodness of God, we have a home and food, when so many of our neighbors have lost everything.
Thank God for the Dads. Hope they all had a good Father’s Day. When our dads have gone on to heaven, we sure miss them. I miss my dad. Bro. Benny’s message Sunday was from John 5-39 and Luke 16-23. We sure enjoyed it.
Bro. and Sister Dewitt’s children from up around Sparta, came to church Sunday to spend Father’s Day with their dad. There was six in all – some children – some grandchildren and some great-grandchildren.
In our evening service we had a guest speaker – Bro. Bruce Groves from Taneyville. We sure enjoyed his message. We aslo had musicians that came from everywhere. They were all good and we enjoyed the music.
This Sunday is the Fourth Sunday Singing at Happy Home Church at 2 p.m. Faith Rock will be having our lunch in the basement Sunday after the morning services. Always remember to be mindful of God in all things. God bless you all.
