This week will be a substitute for our dear, sweet Audrey, as she ison a deserved vacation in Florida, meeting up with her relatives there. Audrey is a blessin to our church and our community. We pray she will have a safe and joyful trip.
We are having some very good lessons in our Sunday school this summer. “Maturing In Christ,” growing up in Christ, Paul quickly established that growing up spiritually begins with God. Paul was confident that He which hath began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Phil. 1:1-6, our first study focuses on how believers can live with confidence in Christ. If you have experienced the truth of the gospel, then you can have the assurance that your life is in God’s hands.
We thank our Lord every day for our good pastors. They are a spirit filled, true preaching couple. Our Sunday morning message by Bro. Benny was All Things Are Possible With God, Matth. 10-13
During our evening service we were blessed with singers from Hartville – “Higher Vision.” We were also blessed by Cindy Smith singing a couple of songs for us. And our own Roland Carson sang two songs.
The first Sunday of June our church went to Red Bud Village for a 2 p.m. service. We were thankful for the ones that took part and we hope to see them all back the next time we are there. They are a blessing to us. Next month due to too many commitments, we will cancel for July. We will try and see you all in August. You are precious people and we love you and God loves you.
We missed Glen and Wanda as they took a trip to Colorado. We also miss Micheal Young as he started back to school. He is attending school at the College of the Ozarks.
We were sure glad to see Darrell and Betty Hesterlee back as Betty was out two weeks and Darrel with flu-like stuff.
Carol Carson’s grandson will be here with her this summer. He is from Texas and I forgot to get his name. We are happy to have him in church each week with his grandma.
Just something to think about – I shall not pass through this world, but once, any good therefore, that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer it, or neglect it. For I shall not pass this way again.
Faith Rock wishes you all a blessed week.
