Donna K. Witchey, 57 years, passed away on June 28, 2011 at St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, Mo.
Donna was born Dec. 28, 1953 in Douglas County, Mo., to Eugene and Chloe (Pellham) Wilson.
Donna was a lifelong resident of the Ava community. On April 21, 1973 Donna and Lloyd E. Witchey were united in marriage at the Sandy Church in Ava, Mo., and to this union one son, Jonathan, was born.
Donna was a member of the Harvest Project Center in Mansfield, Mo. She enjoyed reading, quilting, crocheting, gardening and visiting with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Wilson; and a brother, Howard Wilson.
Donna is survived by her husband, Lloyd E. Witchey, Ava, Mo.; one son, Jonathan Witchey, Ava, Mo.; her mother, Chloe Wilson, Ava, Mo.; three brothers and their spouses, David and Joyce Wilson, Branson, Mo., Dwight and Carla Wilson and Roger and Judy Wilson, all of Ava, Mo.; sister-in-law, Judy Wilson, Ava, Mo.; brother-in-law, Vernon Witchey, Ava, Mo.; sister-in-law, Glenda Witchey, Ava, Mo.; many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 1, at 10 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with burial in the Union Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, June 30, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Ronnie Baker and Pastor Jack Clemans. Memorials may be made to the family as a love offering.
