During Wednesday evening Bible study June 22 prayer requests were asked for Earnie Cook, Bevy’s mom came through her procedure, thank the Lord for so many blessings and prayers for Linda’s bone scan.
Sunday morning prayer requests were for Teresa, Peg’s sister with a heart problem, Bevy, Nicholas and Nathan, Dalton’s grandmother gave his praise report. God took care of him, He is getting along fine. Ray Patterson is doing well. Kenny McDaniel, H.G. Gaulding’s granddaughter is eating on her own and had her first church visit last Sunday, Reggie Spurlock and Lauren and John.
Morning services started with John 3:1 which tells about a ruler of the Jews and how he came to Jesus at night, Jesus told him you must be born again to see the kingdom of God. Do you slip around and be a Christian? God sees all, we can’t hide anything from him.
Evening prayer requests were for Billy’s Graham’s sister Lori, our military men and women, the nation, the family of Don Graham’s friend in Mississippi. Leah requested prayer for Darrel and Linda R. requested prayer for Richard and her mother.
Special music was by Linda R, We all enjoy hearing Linda sing.
Evening message was in Isaiah 6:1-8. God had a message for Israel. It says even though God has a message to be delivered, Israel will not pay any attention, but before the message could be delivered Isaiah’s lips were cleansed by a live coal from the altar any sin was removed. The voice of the Lord said “whom shall I send, and who will go,” even though the message would not be accepted, Isaiah said, “Here am I, send me.” Isaiah asks “how long” will it be before they come to their senses?
Bro. Joe dismissed after reading Psalms 150:6.
“Let everything that hath breath, praise the Lord, praise ye the Lord.”
