Church of the Living God

During Wednesday night Bible study on June 8, we had requests for special prayer for Kristen’s Grannie in the hospital, Teresa in Minnesota Missionary field, Bevy’s dad, Gary’s son, Pam Reed and Norma’s Dalton.

We are studying about the law, concerning Peter and Paul’s preaching in public places. They were thrown in prison for doing it and were also beaten, but they continued. What will we do, confronted with the same situation?

June 12, Sunday. Greetings on this beautiful Sunday morning. Special prayer is needed for: Pam Fuller, Teresa in Minnesota Mission field, Hannah Givan’s family, Bill Bolding, John and Lauren, Kenny McDaniel – eye surgery, H.G. Gaulding – baby doing well on her own now, praise God! Also Norma’s Dalton, Jeanie’s husband, Ray Patterson, Ray Dobbs, Connie Lee’s praise report after praying for the young man for three years. God’s time is not our time. He is never late and never early, right on time.

Special songs were by Bevy and a duet by Bevy and Betty Hale.

Morning message was “Christianity by Association.” This we should not do, do as Christ instructs us in His word, not what other churches or other christians are doing. Christ is our only example.

During Sunday evening service prayer requests were for a semi accident, Joplin needs prayer, its not over yet, so much heartache and loss, April, Ethan, son-in-law, Randy, Don Nash, Connie Lee and Connie H.

Joe Hickey had a six months anniversary. Jesus and him were celebrating their association together.

We didn’t have a regular evening service. We let God have His way.

Some of the words spoken wer “do we caudle sin?” If we do Satan will help you. He’ll take you by the hand and help you along. Linda R. gave her testimony and gave us a mini sermon. We appreciate it Linda for reminding us of our Christian duty.

Lets go back to our first love.
