Hope everyone had a good Father’s Day. I had a good day and a busy weekend. Saturday evening we went to Kevan and Karen’s for a barbeque. Those attending were Clifton and Grace, myself, Harold, Buster, Jessie, Jenna, Tyler, Rylee, Bob and Linda. We enjoyed visiting and had a lot of good food.
Saturday morning we visited at the home of Barb, Jack and Miracle. Margaret and Delmar were also there. Preston was here from Arkansas and we visited with him and he also attended his class reunion on Saturday night. (Teresa, Ebbie and Owen joined us on Saturday morning.)
We attended early morning services at the Assembly of God with Barb, Jack, Miracle, Preston and several other family members then went on to House of Prayer for church service there.
Sunday evening we went to Mansfield for another Father’s Day get together at the home of Barb and Andy Williams and family. We enjoyed homemade ice cream and desserts. Other families were there.
Sunday afternoon Billie Gail and Jake visited us and brought Bob a card for Father’s Day.
I’ve visited by phone with Nora, Violet and Mary Eads. Mary has moved from Joplin closer to her son in Oklahoma.
The tornado totaled her car, but she wasn’t hurt.
My squirrels are enjoying the season’s end of my raspberries. Since they found them, they get more than I do.
Barb and Jack had most of their family visiting over the weekend.
We’re so thankful to see Preston and how he is progressing. We thank God and all the prayers that have been prayed for him.
Linda has visited by phone with great grandchildren, Stellena and Holly of Oklahoma. Holly is still at home, but not doing well.
Until next week, God bless all.
