The Ava Swim Team hosted last Saturday’s area swim meet, and the Ava team claimed the second place trophy.
The district meet will be held at Seymour on Saturday, July 9.
Caleb Johnson was high point winner in 9-10 boys; Shane Olmstead was high in 13-14 boys; Courtney Nall earned high point honors for 15-16 girls; and Emily Sterling took the honors for 17-25 women.
