Tom and Mary Martha Williams, Marie Dickey, Carol Moore, Doris Morrison and Hellen Blakey all went to Mansfield last Monday to their O.E.S. Friendship Meeting and got to see Dorline House get her 50 year pin.
I took my news in last Tuesday and then I picked up Kathy Merritt and took her to get some groceries and pay some bills before I took her home.
Kay and I went down to the Piland Youth Camp Thursday and took some food down from Mt. Tabor Church and then after the children got through eating we helped clean up before we came back home.
Mary Lou Garfit got to come home Thursday. I went to town Friday and had my hair cut and while in town I stopped by Kathy Merritt, Mona’s CafĂ©, Ronnie and Mary Lou Garfit’s and then I stopped by and saw Justin, Tara and my little great grandson, Jett. He sure is growing.
When I was at the beauty shop there was a lady getting her hair cut and it turned out to be on of Brittany Kutz’s friend that she grew up with, Sabrina (Cox) Maggard. She gave me her address, but I guess I have misplaced it, so I will have to call her before I send her some pictures.
Saturday I went to Preston and attended the Preston School Reunion. There were lots there, but didn’t get the count. Two of my classmates were there and lots of my cousins. There was lots of food and we had food to bring home.
Sunday after church I went down to Mark’s for dinner and he barbequed hot dogs and hamburgers. After we ate, we had homemade ice cream and it was good because we used good old cow’s milk. Those present were Dwayne and Lora Kay Davis, Hellen Blakey, Alexia Blakey, Chad and Laura Blakey, Mark, Sherry, Mark Weston, Kelsey and her friend, Dustin Seaborn. Annie came later after they all got back from floating and picked up her daughter, Alexia. She sure is a good baby.
Keep all our sick folks in your prayers.
My prayers and sympathy go out to all the ones who have lost a loved one.
Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
