Cattlemen’s Association Will Meet June 30 At Larson’s In West Plains

The South Central Cattlemen’s Association will hold its next meeting Thursday, June 30, beginning at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at Larson’s Farm and Lawn, on North Highway 63 in West Plains.

The featured speaker will be Dr. Craig Payne, DVM with the University of Missouri in Columbia.  Dr. Payne will discuss herd health, including new vaccines that are available. He will discuss Hardjo-Bovis usage as well as new data concerning Trichomononiasis.  A question and answer session will follow his presentation.

South Central Cattlemen’s Association was organized in 2009 serving cattle producers in Howell, Ozark, Douglas, Oregon and Shannon counties.  The purpose of the Association is to advance economic, educational, political and social interests of the Missouri Cattle Industry.

All cattle producers, business associates, and members are encouraged to attend.
