The Ava High School graduating class of 1981 will hold its 30-year reunion this weekend.
On Friday, June 17, class members will be at Springfield Brewing Company starting at 7:30 with dinner on your own.
If you want to have some fun and “go back in time” they will meet at the “1984″ video arcade before going over to the brewery.
The group will be meeting at the Ava Country Club, Saturday, June 18 at 6 p.m. for the official reunion. Brooke’s Country Kitchen will cater the meal. The cost of the meal is $20 per person. Proverbs 15 Photography will take a group photo at 7 o’clock.
Any teachers from the class era are invited to come and be guests of the class. Other schoolmates are welcome to come after 8 o’clock to visit.
Organizers are still trying to locate the following lost Bears: Alice Bryan, Melinda Currie Angeron, Connie Davis Taylor, Cindy French Clements, Kim Green Goble, Richard Hampton, Bryan Johnson, Leslie Loeber-Miller, Hubert Merriett, Karen Miller Finch, Jason Stutts and Will Thompson.
