Jim “Jimmy” Dewayne Hanson, age 45, of Globe, Ariz., passed away on May 31, 2011 at his residence in Globe. He was born in Munich, Germany on Oct. 23, 1965, the beloved son of James and Elaine Hanson.
He worked as a security guard for Freeport-McMoRan Copper Company. He enjoyed sports, fishing and was great at sports trivia. Jimmy served his country proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife, Gina, and son, Jonathon Hanson of Globe, Ariz.; parents, James and Elaine Hanson of Ava, Mo.; a sister, Jolaine Marrs, of Ava, Mo. and sister and brother-in-law, Charyl and Russell Harbaugh, of Aurora, Mo.; one niece, Kayla Marrs, Ava; and three nephews, Markus Marrs, of Olathe, Kan., and Daniel and Brandan Harbaugh, of Aurora.
Memorial services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 7, at the Church of the Nazarene in Globe, Ariz.
